Bird of the month for me was a very approchable white-rumped sandpiper at Salthouse, I went for it on three afternoons and finally managed to get it in some decent light.
Followed closely by this first-winter whiskered tern at Titchwell, another very showy bird.
During in the month it started to get cold and feel wintery, allowing close view of some often flighty species.
