March got off to an amazing start with a couple of very obliging barn owls on the 1st.

 

A trip to visit relatives in Essex allowed me some time at Westcliff where I got to cracking views of Sanderling, showing down to just a few feet.

 

March also added a couple more new species for the website, in the shape of little grebe at Cley and pheasant at Titchwell.

 

Throughout the month I also managed to catch up with a number of commoner species...
