January 2008
The year got off to an amazing start with the arrival of a white-crowned sparrow in a garden in Cley. The bird remained throughout the month, getting showier as time went on.
The month ended with my first ever photographable grey phalarope, it showed amazingly well...
Early in the month I was fortunate enough to be awared Birdguides Photo of the Year 2007 for my shot of a pair of stone curlew.
