December 2005

December was a very slow month for me - work, weather and illness all restricted my birding and photography greatly. One of the few birding trips was to Titchwell, where the golden plovers showed wonderfully in the winter sunshine - unfortunately they were a long way off so it was back to digiscoping.

 

For much of the month my only chance to take photos was in our garden, fortuntaely the birds showed well.

 

 

The pair of jays that had become daily visitors to the garden continued to perform throughout the month.
