common crane - Grus grus

Pensthorpe, Norfolk - 25th January 2007

This individual arrived at Pensthorpe in July 2006 and has stayed in the area since, it tends to associate with three juv cranes that form part of the Great Crane Project. Though these photos were taken at Pensthorpe this is a truely wild bird!
