April 2006

Early in the month a killdeer turned up at Blakeney, I went three times, missed it on the first attempted, saw it on the second and photographed it on the thrid. Unfortunately the bird was fairly distant and the light was bad, so the shots aren't as I'd like them.

 

Through out the month good numbers of migrants came through, thankfully some where fairly showy.

 

Also a few late birds that I see more in winter months were happy to pose for the camera.

 

April again provided pleanty of opportunity to photograph many of the commoner species...
